Since Lockdown....

Well it has been a strange time these past few months and one that has offered many challenges to so many people. I for one, have had my ups and downs. The first 3-4 weeks I felt like I was on a really crappy holiday - having said that I still had some fun , as I was introduced to the world of House Party by my kids !

Since then, I have celebrated my birthday, missed many friends birthdays and other celebrations and of course I miss my family and friends a LOT , but I won't complain as those that have risked their lives on the front line of all the chaos deserve more than applause each week...they deserve a bloody medal..oh..and a huge pay rise!

I have come to realise that I am really very good at managing my time. I have kept busy by raising money for Refuge Charity for domestic abuse victims by squatting 100 times a day. I managed to raise in excess of £350.00 which surpassed my target. So to all of you who took the time to donate and cheer me on via my facebook page......a BIG thank you to you all :)

My wonderful customers have been amazing ! You have certainly kept me busy these past couple of months and that in turn not only kept my business alive but also kept me sane !!!!

I have also found time to make some more fused glass pieces as well as go on a course (online only) to master a technique I have had my eye on for years! I finally did it and made some beautiful 'floating pendants, which are created with enamel.

I have sold quite a few so far but I will be uploading more to my website as well as my Etsy shop over the next few weeks! As you can see from the photos below, each one is totally different to the next and they look like wonderful wearable pieces of art.

Next up I will be trying to find the time to take things a little further by making some wall art for me....but I have a feeling that is a while away yet as my enamel work seems to take so much of my time :)

Anyhow, just a little and very overdue update from me and I hope you #staysafe #stayhome and keep out of trouble!

Best Wishes
